The Department of Computer and Information Science of the Faculty of
Sciences seeks to fill as soon as possible the position of a

Full Professor (W3) in Computer Science (Algorithmics).

Applicants should be internationally recognised with a research and
teaching focus on algorithmics and applications. The successful
candidate is expected to contribute to the Department's focal area of
"Explorative analysis and interactive visualisation of complex models
and large data spaces". The Department's teaching languages are German
and English.

The University of Konstanz, with its "Institutional Strategy to promote
Top-Level Research", has been receiving continuous funding since 2007
within the framework of the Excellence Initiative by the German Federal
and State Governments.
